Services were inclusive of all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, travel and equipment necessary to perform Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Exam Preparation Training for 30 students.

Street Legal’s Project Manager Certification preparation course provided training to the Corp of Engineers, Fort Leonard Wood’s personnel. The training included current project management methodologies found on the Project Management Institute (PMI) exam as well as information covered in the most current version of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Training covered potential questions presented during the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam to better prepare project managers for the test. Training provided students with 35 PDUs (3.5 CEUs) in order to fulfill the prerequisite for live PMP prep training and for PMP Certification. Street Legal provided assistance to students on completing the PMP application to be submitted to PMI for approval.

The Street Legal PMP Certification Preparation class provided an in depth instruction into the forty-two (42) processes identified and explained in the PMBOK Guide. This class was designed to prepare the trainee for the PMI sanctioned certification examination. Each student, completing the course, were awarded 35 PDUs (3.5 CEUs) and a certificate of completion.

The course design included an overhead presentation to provide visual and audible processing of the class material. A course workbook was used to extract and record terms and definitions from the PMBOK and promote physical processing of the class material. A simplified project was conducted throughout the course to demonstrate the sequencing and relationships between the processes and process groups. Review questions and quizzes were provided to monitor retention and encourage repetitive processing of the material.

Street Legal was awarded the contract to provide PMP Certification training for selected professionals at United States Army Engineer School (USAES) in Fort Leornard Wood, MO in preparation for the PMI PMP Exam. The training was 35 hours in a traditional class room setting. Thirty (30) Professionals received a certificate for 35 PDU’s upon completing the course. Street Legal instructor Perry Jones utilized the following materials during the training: PMBOK Guide, 4th edition; Street Legal PowerPoint presentation; Street Legal workbook; PMP Exam Prep, Sixth Edition by Rita Mulcahy; and Project Management: A Systems Approach to Planning, Scheduling and Controlling,10th Edition by Harold Kerzner. The pass rate on the first attempt was 95%, with 100% pass rate on second attempt.

Street Legal Industries provided a PMP Certified trainer to conduct a PMP Certification Course for twenty (20) USACE personnel. The one-week course provided USACE employees with 35 Personal Development Units to satisfy educational requirements for the PMI PMP application, and prepared students to take and pass the PMP Exam. Street Legal materials included the PMBOK and the Street Legal workbook. Students were also tutored on completing the application, and provided tips and tools for taking the exam.
